How should University Administration works 🗽
Universities should accept an equal number of male and female students in every subject.
Some People hold a view that University policies for student administration should be changed while claiming that an equal proportion of both male and female students should have the right to study in every subject. Albeit there is a dichotomy of views on this controversial concern, I hold a firm opinion that this apprehension is totally unwarranted.
It is a universally accepted fact that Equality is the best way for an eclectic society with the absence of all kinds of discrimination, disparities and marginalization while there is a minuscule proportion of pretentious people that hold the opinion that equity is better than equality and can be identified as the preponderant way to make a better-unbiased society.
On the other hand, it is an axiomatic, empirical fact that universities exist for people who want to see a better future in themselves that desperately trying to climb the unending ladder of education to achieve their dreams. They worked hard with perseverance, motivation, high self-esteem to get through to that point and it can not be justified and respected that they didn't make it to the university because they didn't select the relevant quota based on gender.
Owing to these factors I hold a pessimistic view towards this policy/idea. Equality is providing people with the same opportunities irrespective of their ability to pay and gender identity. They should earn their chances to climb to the top undergoing similar kinds of difficulties and this is widely accepted as the best way to eradicate social, gender, age ... etc. disparities. In contrast, a biased partition who are mostly mingling with feministic affairs claims that Equity, which fairness in every situation is the viable, assertive way for the above goals. Albeit, I believe that giving people the same opportunities is the most appropriate way rather than equity.
As well as a university can be identified as a place where innovative, creative people gather to delarge their knowledge, experience,.... etc. with a sense of cooperation, collaborative unity and common goals. A gender-based selection system would be unfair for people who have intrinsically inherited talents and for the people who polished their skills and talents throughout their studying period.
To conclude things, It is our responsibility to think about things critically, analytically and logically before imposing unnecessary, disputable policies when it comes to education. Education is the best social equalizer so that every person should have the equal right to climb up the ladder irrespective of their socio-economical background, gender, age.
