💟 Mates 💟

He is a very serious character. But he is also a lot of fun. His name is Rashmitha Abhishek Wijeratne. He and I both studied together in the primary section of Carey College, Colombo, in the same grade. A month after entering that college, I was able to enter Thurstan College, Colombo through my uncle. I went to Thurstan anyway. Fifteen years later, my friend met again by chance. 

                                                  

He was the highest performing competitor in the voice competition. Unfortunately, he misses that opportunity. However, he is a man who goes very subtly in his journey. There is a fire god near the houses of Rashmitha who lives in the Mattegoda area. It is our custom to visit that shrine every day when we go there. And his nickname is Siri.

Next, we talk about a national hero. That is the amazing bass player who came from Galle. Everyone knows him as Nirmal or Tharinda. His full name is Tharinda Nirmal Senanayake. But the four of us call him Helicopter. When someone asks him where you are, he says "Ah I'm from Galle". But the reality is that he is within a couple kilometres of Galle. But he says, Galle. But Balapitiya is the real village. Tharinda started worshiping the fire god as mentioned earlier. Later we became devotees of it too.

Now the real hero is coming to the fore. He was the Sirasa Junior Superstar. Named Rowen Earl Peiris. But the nickname is Kiriputha or Milkputha. There is one reason for that name. I'm not saying that because it's too embarrassing to say. He lives in the beautiful village of Pitipana in Homagama. He also contributes to Manduka in Manduka Bhavana through acting. Sleeping with Rowan in the same bed is a bit of a chore. However, our beloved brother is Rowen.
