Hariharan is an Indian
playback singer, bhajan and ghazal singer
from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, who predominantly sang in Tamil and Hindi languages.
He was born on 3 April 1955. Also, he sang notable songs in 10
languages some of them being Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi and Bhojpuri films. He
is an established ghazal singer and
one of the pioneers of Indian fusion music. In 2004, he was honoured with the Padma
Shri by the government of India and is a two-time national awards winner.
Hariharan entered the world of Tamil films in 1992 with new music director A.R. From the patriotic song "Tamizha Thamizha" from Maniratnam's Roja movie introduced by Rahman. At the 1995 Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, he was adjudged the Best Male Playback Singer for Maniratnam's Bombay Music Director A.R. Rahman sings the song "Uyire Uyire" from his soul.
Arijit Singh is an Indian singer and music composer. He sings predominantly in Hindi and Bengali but has also performed in various other languages. He is the recipient of a National Awards and a record six Film fare He is often cited as one of the best singers in the Indian and Pakistani music industries, and has established a huge fan base throughout south Asia.
He is also known as the "King of Playback Singing".
